Adolescents’ written communication on Facebook
My research studies how adolescents from Argentina communicate via Facebook written exchanges using their L1 “Río de la Plata” Spanish. The corpus is made up of 90 individuals from three regions of the country (Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Río Negro). The research seeks to identify linguistic patterns shared by these individuals in terms of morphology, syntax, spelling, phonology, lexis and semantics.
